New students are always welcome, no previous experience necessary. We explore performance skills, boost creativity, build confidence and most importantly have fun!

All aspects of drama can be experienced; improvisation, physical theatre, text work, storytelling, exploring different theatre genres and using the spoken word to inspire and motivate students and encourage independent and creative thinking. Drama is very much about enjoying the process but along the way the students are developing important life skills such as teamwork, communication, empathy and self- confidence which will support them throughout their lives.

Students will improve their vocal and physical skills in theatre alongside a foundation of specialist knowledge that will further support those who are studying drama at school at any level.  Youth Theatre sessions are relevant and cohesive alongside the drama curriculum.    

Classes run from 4pm to 5 pm every Wednesday in term time throughout the year and is open for students aged 8+ ( year 4 and up) and cost  £5 per session with termly or weekly payments available.

Classes are led by Alison Johnson, an experienced specialist Drama teacher and examiner, BA Hons Drama, PGCE Central School of Speech and Drama.
